We asked our employees what they really think!
What’s JABLE actually like?
Data doesn’t tell the whole story—here’s the truth.
We asked our team for their honest opinions about working at JABLE.
Job Description

BIDBUY's main business is a proxy purchasing service for Korean customers, and the two main roles are Product Purchasing and Customer Support. We identify each employee's strengths and their personality, and assign tasks based on them. For example, Product Purchasing requires accuracy and speed, while Customer Support requires a deep understanding of our service and empathy towards customers. Ultimately, the goal is to become a versatile team player who can handle either role!

DEJAPAN is similar to BIDBUY, but our customers are mainly from English-speaking countries. The overall workflow is pretty much the same, but I’m constantly amazed and learning about the kinds of products people from the other side of the world are buying! We often get orders for one-of-a-kind items. What’s also exciting is that DEJAPAN is a fully in-house service we built from the ground up. That means we’re responsible for handling system errors, making updates, and driving service improvements. This role really calls for problem-solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to propose meaningful, long-term solutions!

Our department handles a wide variety of functions, like accounting and Human Resources, so we're busy! JABLE oversees various businesses and services, so it's essential for us to be able to see the big picture. Another important part of our job is to create a better working environment within the company. I was really happy when my proposal to utilize a certain system was accepted!

Our B2B operations can be broadly divided into import and export activities. For imports, we bring in cosmetics and general merchandise from overseas and introduce them to domestic client companies. These products end up in retail stores like variety shops and drugstores. On the export side, we showcase a wide range of domestic products to overseas sellers and help with their export. We also work closely with the marketing team to improve content creation and boost web marketing.

When you hear "warehouse job," you might imagine solitary, monotonous work, like lifting heavy items alone in a dark, stifling environment... A lot of new employees, including myself, had those impressions before joining JABLE, but that's not the case here! Firstly, it's a team-oriented environment, so you're not left to figure things out alone; we help each other out. While we sometimes need to lift heavy items, for safety reasons, items over a certain weight are always handled by multiple people. We communicate proactively, and the warehouse is well-ventilated, so you might work up a sweat, but it doesn't smell that much! Overall, while it is physical work, there are still plenty of roles which women or those who aren't confident in their physical abilities can manage, like item inspection, data entry, and labeling.

Working Environment
Breaking News! What’s JABLE really like? Our employees tell all!
When it comes to work, the first thing that comes to mind is the company atmosphere.
We brought employees from different teams together to have an open conversation
about what it’s like at JABLE.

Thank you all for taking the time to join today—I know you’re all super busy!
I’m excited to hear your honest thoughts
about what it’s really like working at JABLE! (laughing)
Let’s dive right in—what’s the best thing about working here?
Honestly, the location is really convenient!
The head office is right by the station,
and lots of warehouse
team members joined because it’s close to where they live.
With an easy commute, there’s way less stress,
and some might even say Mondays aren’t so bad anymore! (laughing)

Really?
Mondays are usually busy, so I bet it can be quite hectic!
But the head office has a great working environment that lets you focus on work,
so even when it's busy, you can stay calm and get things done.
The break area
is fully equipped!
There's a fridge, microwave,
free snacks and drinks,
and you can enjoy freshly toasted
pastries for breakfast♡
When we work, we focus on working hard and getting tasks done,
but during breaks or snack time, we relax and chat.
I think it's an environment where it's easy to take a break when you need one,
and the clear distinction between work time
and break time makes this company a great fit for people who like this work style.

We even celebrate
employee birthdays!
We offer a variety of programs
to support employee growth,
including certification course support,
and an allowance for
the cost of books and training expenses.

I'd say it's a calm workplace, but the atmosphere isn't too formal.
We mostly focus on our tasks quietly, but there's always music playing,
which is a nice way to help us concentrate.
I think one of the best things about JABLE's work culture is how easy it is to share ideas and opinions.
What do you all think?
Definitely! The execs are super approachable,
so you can pitch ideas directly to decision-makers, and things move quickly.
The leadership team is all about, "If it’s a good idea, let’s try it!"
Being a small company, discussions go smoothly, and it’s easy to start something new.
I really feel like employees’ voices are heard.

Work-Life Balance
We don’t really do overtime.
Thanks to flexible working hours
and a supportive environment
for taking paid leave,
it’s super easy to balance work
with your personal life!

We definitely chat about work without any trouble,
but what I really like is that I can share personal things too!
It’s such an open environment
where you can ask for advice on pretty much anything.
Some people even hang out together on their days off!
I honestly feel like everyone at JABLE is really kind.
People genuinely listen to each other.
Since it’s a multicultural company, there are some language barriers,
but everyone really makes an effort to communicate clearly so things are understood.
No one expects you to just "read between the lines",
which definitely helps prevent misunderstandings and miscommunications.

What really makes me feel like this is such an international company is the variety of languages I hear every day.
Besides Japanese, I often hear conversations in Korean and English!
Sometimes, I’ll catch myself thinking, "Wait, I’ve only heard that word in foreign dramas, and now I’m hearing it in real life!"
I think it's pretty rare to hear so many languages in a typical company, so it's really exciting to listen to!
A lot of people who join the company have a genuine interest in other countries and cultures, so it creates a really fun and engaging atmosphere.
I really like that we don't have a strict dress code.
We can wear clothes that we're comfortable in, and we're free to dye our hair, paint our nails, and have piercings!
JABLE is full of people with unique personalities, both inside and out.

We asked even more questions!
You can read the full interviews through our company blog site.
Join JABLE, where we thrive in a free
and open environment while maintaining a strong work ethic!
We’re excited to see your application!
